RW CMS Website Builder

Build the site before the site exists.

Set the database, choose modules, describe the business, pick a blueprint, and let RW CMS generate a tailored website plan, content, navigation, SEO, internal links, and a safe per-site theme.

Environment checks

RW CMS needs a Laravel app key, writable folders, PHP 8.3+, and a migrated database. The installer can save DB credentials and run migrations once you provide the database details.

Database ready

App key note: Laravel web/session requests need an `APP_KEY`. If this page loads, the key is already usable. If a fresh copy shows a missing key error, run `php artisan key:generate` once before opening setup.

Setup lock: after final install, RW CMS marks setup complete and redirects visitors to the generated website/admin.

Database setup

Enter MySQL details, test the connection, then save to `.env` and run migrations. This is the guided replacement for manual migration commands on most servers.

MySQL

Business setup

This is the real brief. RW CMS uses it to generate a site that fits the business instead of cloning a generic template.

Blueprint and modules

Blueprints set the site shape. Modules decide which admin areas and future features belong to this install. Core modules are always included.

Core modules

Optional modules

AI build and theme

AI can generate the first site plan, pages, blogs, navigation, internal links, image prompts, CTA strategy, and theme direction.

OpenAI stored

Theme direction

Pick colours visually or type the exact hex. RW CMS passes these into the AI theme generator and the generated site CSS.

Quick palettes

Tap a colour to send it into the currently focused picker.

DaisyUI is best for modern Tailwind themes. Bootstrap 5 is useful when you want classic Bootstrap theme compatibility.

Final install

Create the owner account, install the selected blueprint/modules, generate the site, write `public/rw-cms/site-theme.css`, then lock the installer.

Ready when you are

Admin user

Optional if you already seeded a user, but recommended for a clean install.

What happens next: RW CMS stores the business profile, installs selected modules, seeds or generates pages/blogs/navigation, writes the unique site theme file, creates the admin user, and marks setup complete.

Use the stage tabs freely. Only the final button locks setup.
